Our approach
You are not a passive user. You are an active collaborator.
Here’s the thing: most AI advice is written for engineers or for hype. Neither one helps on a Tuesday morning with twenty-eight students in the room. So we start where you actually are.
1 — Start with the question
Before touching a tool, we get clear on what you’re trying to teach or solve. The tool is second. Always.
2 — Practice out loud
You work through real prompts with real lesson material, and we talk about what came back — the useful parts and the wrong parts.
3 — Keep the final say
You review, edit, and decide. The human stays the orchestrator, in your classroom and in your policy.

Questions
The things people ask us first
Do we need to already use AI tools?
No. Plenty of people come to a session having never opened one. We start from zero and move at the pace of the room.
Is this going to replace teachers?
That’s not the premise we work from. These are tools for drafting, sorting, and rethinking — the judgement stays with the person. We spend as much time on the limits as on the uses.
Why do educators need to learn about AI?
Teachers need to learn AI to reduce administrative overwhelm and reclaim precious time for what matters most: building human connections and guiding student learning.
Why do our students need to learn how to use AI?
Students need to learn how to partner with AI so they can build the critical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving skills required for their future.
Won’t students use AI to cheat?
When we teach students to treat AI as a thinking partner rather than a shortcut, using it effectively actually demands more critical thinking, questioning, and human evaluation—not less.
What does a workshop cost?
Sliding scale based on your budget, and free for Title I schools. Tell us what you can work with when you write to us.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes. LLM Liaison, NFP is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity in Illinois, and we’ll send a receipt for your records.
